March 14: Monarch Tagging Workshop - Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park will host a free monarch tagging workshop by Gail Morris, coordinator of the Southwest Monarch Study, at 1:30 p.m. Participants will learn about monarch biology, migration, and conservation, as well as how to tag and track monarch butterflies to gain valuable information about their flyways. March 17-18: MCAS Yuma Air Show – The Coronado Motor Hotel is proud to be the host hotel for this event featuring a full roster of exciting displays and plans to break a Guinness World Record. Since 1962, this annual celebration of aviation has been a hallmark event for both MCAS Yuma and the City of Yuma. This year, the Yuma Airshow will feature both military and civilian demonstrations, including an F-35B demonstration, the Patriots Jet Team, the Misty Blues All Women Skydiving Team, and the famous Wall of Fire, which is planned to break a Guinness World Record. March 17-18: MCAS Yuma Air Show – The Coronado Motor Hotel is proud to be the host hotel for this event featuring a full roster of exciting displays and plans to break a Guinness World Record.
